Web admin utilities

• log files (via /sitename/logs/logname)
• installed packages (via /sitename/packages/dpkg/)
• info pages packages (via /sitename/packages/info2www)
• man pages packages (via /sitename/packages/dwww)

To access the logs below you will need to be in an allowed group and configure your client (e.g. browser) to use the "negotiate" authentication protocol. You also need to have Kerberos client software installed (krb5-user on Debian, should be pre-installed on MacOS) and to have run kinit first. (On MacOS, you can alternatively use /System/Library/CoreServices/Ticket\ Viewer.app/Contents/MacOS/Ticket\ Viewer.)

Firefox:

• Enter about:config in the address bar
• Select the network.negotiate-auth.trusted-uris parameter and set it to oucs.ox.ac.uk

Command line:

• Use a system with Kerberos-enabled curl e.g. linux.ox.ac.uk
• curl --negotiate -u : https://webadmin.oucs.ox.ac.uk/www.oucs.ox.ac.uk/logs/access.log

If the number of log lines displayed is not enough, specify more by appending e.g. ?lines=1000 or ?lines=all to the address.
